Cue the ukulele and good vibes—because something magical just happened on American Idol!

This week, local superstar Iam Tongi brought the heart of Hawaiʻi to the Idol stage with a special performance of “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” from the new Disney Lilo & Stitch movie. But he didn’t ride that wave alone—joining him was the talented Kamehameha Children’s Choir, dressed in our very own Lavahut Aurora Collection in Blue! 💙🌴

Let’s just say… the moment had major island energy.

At Lavahut, we were beyond thrilled (and honestly, a little misty-eyed) watching the keiki light up the stage in our authentic aloha wear, proudly made in Hawaii. The girls wore our fan-favorite Moonkiss and Sunkiss Hawaiian dresses, while the boys rocked matching Aloha shirts from the Aurora Blue Collection—the perfect harmony of color, comfort, and cultural pride.

Seeing the beautiful flow of those dresses twirl in sync with island melodies and the bright confidence of the boys in their Hawaiian shirts—it reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Moments like these are powerful reminders that aloha isn’t just a word—it’s a way of life. From the joyful energy of Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, to the warm presence of Iam Tongi, and the cultural pride of the keiki choir, this performance radiated everything that makes Hawai‘i feel like home.

And we’re incredibly proud that Lavahut could play a small part in dressing the future of Hawai‘i in authentic clothing made locally in Hawaii—and made with aloha in every stitch.
